           Olympic Diver
Sponsorship
Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist, high and spring board diver, Peter Waterfield is one of our gold medal hopes for Beijing 2008.

The 25-year-old is currently competing on the world diving circuit.

He also looks set to represent Great Britain at the next Olympics in the individual diving events, as well as the synchronised.

Peter trains with the holder of a Helen Rollason medal for the best female UK Sports Coach of the Year 2005 and the British Olympic Team Manager, Lindsey Fraser, in Southampton, which is fast becoming the Mecca for Olympic and national diving hopefuls. Visit www.southamptondiving.co.uk for more information.

But Peter’s road to Athens and going forward to Beijing has not been an easy one.

To add to the rigours of his training regime, Peter has financial issues to consider. He struggles to find sponsorship. Money is tight for Olympians and the pennies really count. He lives with his fiancée Tania, and their young son Lewis, in Southampton.

His ambition in life is to become one of the best divers in the world.
